Cuatro Tolson has worked in the finance industry for over 13 years with particular focus on international private equity, investment banking and asset management. He works as a Managing Director with Love Energy Advisors, a boutique energy consulting and origination firm, and has been focused on capital procurement and investment banking activities providing advice and services to corporate and institutional clients in the exploration and production, oil field services, power, distribution and renewables sectors in the Americas and beyond.

Prior to working with Love Energy Advisors Cuatro was a regional director at Dimensional Fund Advisors, Cuatro was responsible for product development, client services, and marketing and sales focused on the global marketplace. In his role, he oversaw the creation and development of a structured financial pension solution for large corporate clients and financial advisors in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States, and Australia.  Prior to joining Dimensional in 2010, Cuatro worked for over 5 years for a boutique investment bank and management consulting firm where he worked exclusively with upper management to raise money for a startup financial service solution called SmartNest, which was eventually purchase by Dimensional in 2010.  Previous to his employment with SmarNest which started in 1995, Cuatro worked for CableVision, S.A., a portfolio company of private equity firm Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Cuatro worked in Argentina for over 4 years before returning to the United States to compete his master’s degree in Business Administration.

Cuatro holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin in business economics and Spanish, and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management with a focus on Spanish and the Southern Cone. Cuatro holds a FINRA Series 7 license.
